If you've been let down by paper planes that nose-dive after two feet, this is the one to try. It's billed as the fastest paper airplane out there, and with its sharp nose and swept-back wings it certainly looks the part — like a little origami jet rather than a floppy glider.

The whole thing comes together in thirteen steps from a single sheet of A4 or letter paper, no scissors or tape required. Throw it with a firm, level motion and it really does shoot across the room. Fair warning: you'll want to clear some space before your first launch.

This is the fastest paper airplane I’ve ever seen flying, and it looks very cool. To fly well, launch it forward and throw as hard as you can.

STEP 1. Start with a regular rectangular sheet of paper that’s 8.5 x 11.0 inches (215.9 x 279.4 mm) or A4 paper. Make a crease by folding the top edge down to the bottom edge, then unfold.

STEP 2. Make a crease by folding the left edge to the right edge, then unfold.

STEP 3. Fold the bottom-left corner in to the center point.

STEP 4. Fold the top-left corner in to the center point.

STEP 5. Fold the left edges in so they meet the center line.

STEP 6. Fold the triangle on the left side of the model behind it along the dotted line, as shown.

STEP 7.Fold the left edges coincides  with the right edges of the upper layer.Then turn over.

STEP 8. Fold the triangle of the top layer to the left along the dotted line.

STEP 9. Fold the corners to the center along the dotted line.

STEP 10. Fold the plane in half.

STEP 11.Form the wings. Fold the left edge coincides  with the top edge，then flatten.

STEP 12. Repeat Step 11 on the other side.

STEP 13. Your fastest paper airplane is complete.
